Sustainability
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), we strive to design systems that are energy efficient and environmentally sound. Green building practices can substantially reduce negative environmental impacts while providing reduced operating costs, enhanced building marketability, increased worker production, and better indoor air quality. Examples of the concepts we incorporate into our designs include reducing the use of harmful materials such as mercury thermometers and ozone depleting refrigerants, provide premium efficient motors capable of variable speed operation, building management systems programmed for demand controlled ventilation and lighting control, and following the principles of LEED for “green buildings”.-
