Third Party Testing

Cabling is the longest life cycle component of a network system that is typically used for many years while network hardware is changed out more frequently. Some cabling installers test their systems prior to being turned over to the owner, but many do not, and those that do may not always report all deficiencies to their client. Without proper testing and certification, a data network may function at slower speeds today, however when more demand is placed on the network infrastructure it can fail to deliver.
Primary Engineering can perform independent 3rd party testing to make sure that you get what you are paying for and that the network cabling systems will perform to their maximum speeds. These tests will be performed by a RCDD, include a visual inspection for quality workmanship, correct installation practices, and cable certification to EIA/TIA 568-B standards. Contact us to discuss your next cabling project and how you can ensure that it will perform to meet your needs for today and into the future.
